Instant Coconut Burfi by Rati Kumar

Rati Kumar has sent this Instant Coconut Burfi for the event – Traditional Festive Recipes on Tasty Bites. She loves to cook and try out various recipes for her family and friends.

The burfis look very scrumptious, the granulated texture and the cream color of the burfi makes it mouth watering. No doubt, it deserves to be in the Headlines of Tasty Bites.

Welcome Rati to the  member list of  enthusiastic foodies on Tasty Bites. Hope to get to know more from your kitchen here.  Best wishes.

Ingredients

  • 100 gms unsalted butter or ghee
  • 150 gms dessicated coconut
  • 1 tin of condensed milk
  • Few drops rose essence
  • silver varkh (optional).

Method:   Heat the butter or ghee in a sauce pan…till it melts….add condensed milk….and gently heat on low fire….add dessicated coconut and rose essence..and stir till the mithai leaves the sides of the pan( around 5 mins)…. Put the mixture on a greased thali…decorate with silver varkh…cut into pieces….and serve..

This Coconut Burfi is really quick to make and looks very delicious. Thanks for sharing this Rati.
